The Core Therapy

By clicking “Book Consultation,” scheduling an appointment, or making any payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below. This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and The Core Therapy.
1. Service Provider
Services are offered under the brand name The Core Therapy by an independent psychologist who is currently pursuing a PhD and has prior professional experience with recognized institutions.All services are non-medical and non-psychiatric in nature.
2. Free Consultation
The initial consultation is provided free of charge and does not constitute a therapy session.It is limited to general discussion, preliminary understanding of concerns, and assessment of suitability for future therapy services.
No diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, or structured therapeutic intervention is provided during the free consultation.
3. Therapy Sessions and Fees
Therapy sessions are paid services conducted for a duration of forty-five (45) minutes to one (1) hour.
Payments may be made per session or through packages or subscriptions. Fees vary based on individual requirements and are communicated prior to confirmation.No paid session is confirmed unless payment terms are accepted in full.
4. Scope and Limitations of Services
Services are limited to psychological counseling and therapeutic support within professional and ethical boundaries.
The services do not include:• Medical or psychiatric treatment• Clinical diagnosis for medical or legal purposes• Prescription of medication• Emergency or crisis intervention
Nothing provided through this service shall be construed as medical or psychiatric care under the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017 or any other applicable law.
5. No Emergency or Crisis Services
This service is not intended for emergency situations.
If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, urges of self-harm, severe emotional distress, or risk of harm to yourself or others, you must immediately contact local emergency services or a government-recognized crisis helpline.
The Core Therapy does not provide emergency or crisis support and bears no responsibility for crisis management.
6. Eligibility and Personal Use
By booking a session, you confirm that:• You are 18 years of age or older• You are booking the session for yourself only
Sessions are strictly non-transferable and may not be attended by or shared with any third party.
7. Mode of Delivery
All consultations and therapy sessions are conducted online via digital communication platforms such as Google Meet or equivalent services.
You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of online communication, including technical disruptions, connectivity issues, or security limitations.The service provider is not liable for disruptions beyond reasonable control.
8. Working Hours
Sessions are conducted only during designated working hours and are subject to availability.
9. Rescheduling and Cancellations
Appointments may be rescheduled subject to availability.A minimum of twenty-four (24) hours’ prior notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling.
Failure to provide adequate notice may result in forfeiture of fees for paid sessions.
10. Refund Policy (No Refunds)
All payments made for therapy sessions, packages, or subscriptions are final and non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:• Missed sessions• Late cancellations• Dissatisfaction with services• Change of mind• Partial use or non-use of packages or subscriptions
By proceeding with payment, you expressly agree to this strict no-refund policy.
11. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information, including your full name, contact number, and email address.
The service provider is not responsible for any consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by you.
12. Confidentiality and Legal Exceptions
All client information is treated as confidential in accordance with professional ethical standards, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Confidentiality may be lawfully breached where disclosure is required by law, court order, or where there is a credible risk of serious harm to the client or others.
13. Data Handling
Session notes may be stored digitally for professional and continuity purposes.Personal data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect stored data.
14. Recording and Reproduction
Clients are strictly prohibited from recording, photographing, screenshotting, audio-recording, video-recording, reproducing, storing, or distributing any part of a consultation or therapy session without prior written consent of the service provider.
Unauthorized recording may result in immediate termination of services and legal action under applicable laws.
15. Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
The Core Therapy reserves the absolute right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services at any time if services are deemed inappropriate, unsafe, unethical, or if these terms are violated.
No justification is required.
16. Force Majeure
The service provider shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, internet outages, technical failures, or governmental actions.
17. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
The seat of arbitration shall be Chandigarh, India, and proceedings shall be conducted in English.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of India.Subject to arbitration, courts at Chandigarh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
19. Modification of Terms
These terms may be modified at any time without prior notice.Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
20. Informed Consent
